In Fall 2016, I designed a browser app which I facetiously — and too arcanely — titled DidaSkal after the term didaskalia (archaically, anything not spoken in a playtext). Essentially, the app allows the playwright to search-and-replace any select phrase for an HTML tag. In other words, one can designate the phrase “make this sentence stand out” for “strong” and, within <></>, the phrase would have the same effect: bold. The app is accessible through Heroku at http://didaskal.herokuapp.com/.
